Anyone love J Crew?

I wish they'd open over here, the blighters.

Gorgeous stuff and a very small range is now available on Net a Porter here but it seems to sell out pretty quick, probably because it's very affordable in relation to most of the stock on there. They also do a good range of sizes, from XS to XL which would suit us Brits down to the ground.

If Banana Republic and Anthropologie can open up over here, so can they! We've given them Boden after all.

I really like what I've seen of them on NAP so far - crisp and preppy with an occasional dash of sequins - and I wish they'd set up a website selling their whole range on this side of the Atlantic.

The prices aren't bad either, as you say.

Completely agree, Jcrew would oustrip Boden in a season if they became easily available here. Love their clothes, well made, good value, on-trend styles.

womma they may employ you as their UK PR (if they don't already) as you got me straight on to the Net a Porter site checking out the range. It's actually more expensive than I thought it would be - thought it was more comparable to Cos or Gap.

J Crew is similarly priced to Banana Republic (or it was when I lived in New York anyway).

Really good quality and not too expensive (for what you're getting).

J Crew clothes are crisp and preppy and colorful and OK quality. Good for basics, but wearing them head to toe is a very generic look - you will look like just another college sophomore.

I miss Club Monaco much more...

J Crew IS a similar price to Banana Republic in the US if I remember correctly. The prices on NAP are very high in comparison.

Think they'd do really well in the UK.
