New knee-high boots a bit tight around the top.

Can get them on and zipped up (just). Wondering if they'll stretch a bit as they're worn?

They might, or they might not.

To be honest, if they don't fit you perfectly then I would take them back - speaking from experience here...

They came from China.

Forgot I owned them.

Found them at the back of my wardrobe.

If they're leather clarks do a stretching spray which works fantastically!

They should stretch but if you then don't wear them for while they may be tight again the next time you wear them.

There's something about damp newspaper - it might be stuffing it in and leaving to dry.

Stretching spray?? That sounds great - i've got chunky calves and all my boots quite tight around the top. I'm off to Clarks now - thanks
