Too old for ASOS too poor for net a porter

Where can I shop online if I have decided that ASOS is a bit young now?
I'm 30.
Not enough money for My wardrobe/net a porter but need some bits and bobs for Spring.
Where does everyone else go for online goodies?

Never heard of ASOS. Next is my favourite as the deliveries are so quick and returns are very easy. Debenhams are also pretty quick with deliveries.

CointreauVersial · 07/03/2011 13:06

ASOS too young?? And you're 30?

pommedeterre · 07/03/2011 13:55

I know cointreau but I went on this am and everything was cropped.
That's for the idea guys - department stores are a good idea. I've always liked ASOS as you have access to so many companies on one delivery charge.

I don't think your too old for asos at 30! I will be 30 this month and still shop there alot. You can get so many different brands on there you don't have to go for the asos own brand stuff which can be a little cheap and tarty!

I'm loving Oasis at the moment, as well as a few casual bits from Uniqlo and some smarter work stuff from M&S and Hobbs. Next have some lovely shoes in right now, I like these

mhk1 · 07/03/2011 15:53

No way are you told old for ASOS at 30!!!! :-) I think it depends on how you match things, always good to mix designer with cheaper, younger stuff with more traditional. There's lots of great stuff on there.

I really like -

ASOS is brilliant! (and I'm - gulp -40). Fast delivery, no quibble and free returns. But I suppose I ought to start shopping at Berketex and Orvis as I'm so old Grin

cabbageroses · 07/03/2011 19:26

you need to re-think ages.
you are still very young.

I shop all over- not ASOS asit happens but that's just because I haven't bothered yet.

as long as you don't put together an entire teenage look then you can mix and match from all over.

I am mid 50s and buy tops etc from Top Shop, as well as staples from Boden, Jigsaw, kew etc etc.

BelligerentGhoul · 07/03/2011 19:28

Warehouse and Whistles. Bits of M&S Limited Collection, although there's a lot of crap too.

What sort of styles do you like?

Emo76 · 07/03/2011 19:46

Oasis is definitely having a "moment"

Also Warehouse is good at the moment. And GAP/Banana Republic mail order service is fabulous in my experience.

ASOS is fab - you just have to hunt through it!

pommedeterre · 07/03/2011 20:07

I love joseph but can't afford it.
Pre dd I was pretty stylish. Smart but a bit funky I guess. Big heels, nice jeans, nicely cut jumpers. Lovely dresses and cardies. Simple in an interesting way.
Post dd I am a bit lost. I also used to have a big budget for clothes and now...I don't!
I need clothes that withstand repeated washings due to vomit/biscuit/all the norm and are easy to pull on in five mins. Work wise I am now working for myself so could be a bit more personal and make wardrobe all in one rather than separated.
