Narrow width school shoes for teenage girl

Am at the end of my tether trying to find school shoes for my 13 year old. She has narrow (D/E) size 7/7.5 feet, depending on shoe shop. Plus she wears orthotics so pumps are out of the question. And we now have to factor 'style' into the equation. Have tried all the usual, but as you all know, getting your teenager to agree to even trying them on is hard enough. Does anyone have any suggestions short of paying a fortune for handmade shoes?

barrets used to do nice shoes in a slim fitting. They have merged with priceless shoes now and the quality of some styles are iffy. Might be worth a look Smile

Must admit have not tried Barratts but notice that they have a shop in Bluewater - thanks for the tip!

i get barratts own make for my daughter and the leather ones are fine, i got a pair of boots online and they were meant to be £60 reduced to £30, they are crap and have fell apart, more like the priceless ones Smile

i have narrow feet so i totally understand. you usually end up having to use companies like Medissa at Leeds or special feetures, they do narrow fittings. it sounds like she is a ladies AA or B.

Clarks probably don't go that big i suspect.

my girls have both got slim feet and i have given up. the companies just don't cater for this situation.
