shops for slightly small people

I used to buy a lot of clothes from Monsoon's petite range but it was discontinued. I am 5'4 and find that if I buy regular sized dresses I need to take them up at the shoulders. Most petite ranges are too small. Anyone have any good ideas for other ranges / shops I can try? If it helps, I am a pear shape with a size 12 - 14 top and 14-16 hips.

Same prob here, I'm 5'6 but am quite short between shoulder and bust so always end up having to take up tops and dresses at the shoulder

I did find a nice petite dress in debenhams that was a good fit, principles I think

I find warehouse fits well, I'm 5'1

Agree that Warehouse is good and I am only 5ft

I DREAM off being 5' 4" Envy

I find it impossible to buy casual clothes that fit

Grin @ Roundorange

At 5ft, 5ft 4 is positively tall to me!!

I am 5ft, find lots of petite stuff too long for me, River Island can be a bit hit & miss, Topshop, if you can find a style you like, French Connection(not for trousers) tops can be good, though I haven't bought from there for a long time, Joy, Dorothy Perkins sometimes....

Petite Affair has some good trousers and jeans, need to keep checking back though as the styles/fabrics can be hit and miss.
