Threading - snapping thread?

Is this normal? I've only ever had it done twice - the first time was great but was £15 so thought I'd try somewhere cheaper.

So yesterday went to somewhere which cost £7, but the thread must have snapped about 5 or 6 times! Does it just mean they're using crap thread, or does it mean she's missed a load of hairs?

Hmm doesn't sound right. If they don't do it property hairs start growing in all sorts of weird directions, not a good look.

it depends on the quality of the thread and how taut she is holding it. Indian threaders normally use 100% cotton thread which is not widely available here (ones here are mixed with polyester and that would shred your skin to bits). their thread comes from India and quality is not always consistent.

(I did a threading course and this was what we were taught btw). hth

Thanks both of you - I had a proper look in the light & it looks like she's missed a few, meaning I'll probably get all kinds of weird regrowth! Grrr so annoying, don't want to pay £15 a time but looks like this cheaper option isn't actually cheaper after all!
