I need a spring jacket, any ideas please?

I don't know what I want but I do know I need a new jacket for spring. I wear jeans a lot (actually I need a jeans alternative if anyone has any suggestions please!!), don't do much walking but do spend my days hopping in and out of the car, would like smartish casual but not dressy and I live in the back of beyond and am 40-something and a size 10 if that's of any relevance! Can you lovely fashionistas make any suggestions please!

Bumping this as I also need a jacket, been trying a lot of the trench coats but have ample norkage so shouldn't do double breasted? Need for smart but also to look ok at the weekends with leggings and jeans....

something like this? I've got a longer length one in brown. Can't find on-line so probably not part of spring/summer range. My circumstances/needs sound similar to yours and it's perfect!

I've just bought this which ticks those boxes for me.

Oh I really like the Hobbs jacket Castle - it's along the lines of what I was thinking of except my current jacket is black quilted and I really need a change, I think. Ooh, love the blazer but just too smart for my lifestyle/everyday needs!
