Best way to apply false lashes?

Hi,

I've tried using false lashes before and totally ballsed it up and ended up binning them.

Is there a fool proof way of applying them? I've got Ruby and Millie ones.

Also, is it best to put them on before or after eye make up?

Put on after eye shadow and mascara

Put glue long false lashes and wait a miniute while it goes tacky

press down gently with tweezers/end of make up brush etc all along false lash line

you have to place them on from above

What about liquid eyeliner on my upper lids? should I put that on before too or will the lashes smudge it?

Theres a couple of sets in the box so I'll have a practice run tonight.

I think before but you can add a bit if theres a gap that you want to disguise
