tell me stylish ones - is it ever, ever ok to wear white jeans??

Some time ago I let a personal shopper talk me into buying a pair (oh why) - promptly put on weight so they have been in back of wardrobe. They now fit me again and look okay in the sense that I have slim hips - but are they too tacky??
I need to make a decluttering decision. They still have the label on and were not cheap - but it is keep and wear or charity as I can never be arsed to ebay.

Did some-one call?

Like Bonsoir I have just never gotten the hatred on mn of white jeans - they are fab, flattering and pretty sexy I think.

I have 3 pairs I think and love them.

And I may even wear mine this spring with some low heeled leopard print wedges

Oh and I'd recommend the topshop baxters for a good reasonably priced white skinny jean.

I love my white jeans. Mine are low-rise and straight. I wear them long over tan wedge sandals with a slouchy tan bag.

In reality, I need to find something cheaper than these. Any suggestions? I'd be open to jeans as well though my concern would be being too hot in the height of summer.

Nature - I think the second pair are a better shape.

But remember its not that hot that often really - I found there have been an awful lot of days in the past few summers when white jeans have been perfect.

Also good for going out in.

I got some white Topshop Baxters last summer in an attempt to look as glam as Traceybath at her suggestion and I wore them loads. You do need to feel confident though. I kept worrying I'd have a random period or dd poo incident but of course didn't. Made in Heaven are doing some almost white jeans this season which look interesting particuarly in the Marrakesh style.

I have just dyed my White jeans navy. Everytime I went to wear them last year I found a reason not to-time of the month, messy kids or feeling fat. Have worn them loads already in navy.

Don't understand what the problem is with white jeans, I wear them, in fact, got a massive wolf whistle last year when I wore mine on a night out teamed up with a pretty strappy top. Also essential wear when I go to a hot country as I usually have to wear long trousers at night due to mosquitos loving my bear legs.

I did have a New Look pair once and I got it into my head that I looked a bit trailer trash in them but I think I might try again in a better quality, nothing too expensive maybe just Marks or Cortefiel

I have the Topshop Baxter ones and I love them, they are so comfy and don't go baggy around the arse after an hour. Winner. :)
