First night out in ages - wtf to wear!

Not been on a child free night out anywhere since baby born but going on Friday. Just to a pub so not scruffy wear but not too smart.

Have no idea what to wear. I have lost all sight of what is normal pub wear! I have lived in either pregnancy clothes or more recently jeans and t-shirts for ages! Basically I am a frump.

I have a few nice tops in wardrobe but not sure what is acceptable or fashionable to go with them. Have a pair of narrow jeans but as I don't wear heels not sure what to wear with them, got some wider leg boyfriend jeans too but they seem too casual????

Have a tunic style dress.....could I wear that with skinny jeans and pumps, is that still OK?

Don't know what people wear in the way of skirts these days.............Have got a knee length cord thing and some nice boots, would that do?

God I know this is trivial but haven't got a clue!

This is a tricky one as I dont do "casual" for nights out(would never wear jeans-even nice skinny ones as just doesnt seem right).
What about your tunic dress with either leggings or black opaques?(you can still wear flat pumps then)Jazz it up with a good bit of jewellery or nice scarf/bag combo.Have a great night!.

Thanks - think the dress might be a bit short for just tights though........not sure if I have leggings anymore!

The dress is probably the nicest thing I've got though so will probably have to be that with something.

fifitot, I love wearing my jeans when I'm on a night out although I'm a short-arse so must wear heels . I would go with the skinny jeans, tunic and pumps. Personally I don't feel dressed if I'm wearing knee-high boots, I feel too 'clumpy'. Have a brilliant night, where you off to (If that's not too nosey of me)

just the local but honestly feels like forever since I've been anywhere unbabyrelated!
