Do you hate your upper arms?

I hate mine- I am a size 8-10 but my upper arms are flabby- not so much bingo wings as jelly bags and the inner side ( not the back) of them was all dimpled and wrinkly .

HOWEVER for 2-3 weeks I have been doing half press ups, tricep dips and lifting small 2 kg weights- roughly every other day- and i can see a difference already.
So- there is hope!

Well done! Keep going and you'll have Michelle Obama arems in no time! Wink

I use my partner's bench press to do my arms! It's done wonders...

thanks- it's hard work and it's hard to keep going- but will try!

cabbageroses I can vouch for this working. I do 15 slow half press-ups every day. 6 weeks max should see you sorted.

It's really great to have a simple exercise take so little time for such a result.

thanks I need stories like that- my figure is okay but my arms. I am sick of avoiding sleeveless tops.

I lost weight recently, and was pleased to see my bingo wings diminish. Unfortunately, the flab fairies took my norks too.

cabbageroses please try Soap & Glory Flake Away - the only thing that has ever ever got rid of the horrid bumps that look like chicken skin. Scrub 3/4 times weekly, slather in moisturiser afterwards = voila! Human skin Grin

cabbageroses · 16/02/2011 17:28

barbie- I don't have bumps- Smile it's just flab.

"Flab fairies took my norks too" Too funny (but not for the lost norks) Grin

cornslik · 16/02/2011 22:26

well done Smile I really enjoy doing my arm exercises now. I used to have the weakest arms ever

TigerseyeMum · 16/02/2011 22:58

I have done small weights too for 3 weeks and think I can see a difference, I am also a small size but my arms are muc bigger than they used to be :(

I also bought ankle weights and they are really helping my legs - painful though!

cornslik · 16/02/2011 23:56

I really think that arms are easy to tone up. Stomach not so easy!

cabbageroses · 17/02/2011 08:54

it's keeping going that is the battle, i think!
I walk a lot up hills and do squats/lunges so my legs and thighs are fine, but the arms.....neglected.

stomach is not bad but need to get rid of another 2lbs of flab- lost 2lbs in a month but seem to be stuck! I need to do more exercise- my job involves hours at a pc so apart from the daily walk, of 3 miles, no other activity.

Trifle probably doesn't help does it?

Wobbly trifle = wobbly arms
