yet another thread about morrocanoil: anyone used it AND argan oil?

As a rule I hate products with silicones (think FrizzEase is the work of the devil). So I'm thinking that pure argan oil is going to work better for me than morrocanoil which is full of silicones.

Anyone tried them both and have views?

Since stuff with silicones usually seems great at first - the problems develop over time for me anyway - it would help if you'd been using it for a while!

I had ordered the argan oil and it arrived today so I have yet to use it. The fact that it had no silicones in it was what made me order that rather than the moroccan oil. I will report back tomorrow.
I was wondering if you need to use conditioner or do you just shampoo and then use it? I'm a bit confused as to what to do with it as I don't shampoo my hair very often.

mmm good q dexter, I was assuming that it was a styling product so would have put it on after conditioner, but perhaps other people know better?

look forward to your report tomorrow

Hi I use Morrocan oil after shampooing and conditioning as normal on towel dried hair and have been using it every day for around six months. It's lovely. Don't know what the problem is with silicone? I love Frizz Ease too! Always have shiny hair and it's washed, styled and ghd'd every day! (Dark brown jaw length bob)

I find that products with silicone eventually make my hair dull and really frizzy lipgloss, just horses for courses I guess but I have much nicer hair now that I avoid them!

Oh I'm scared not to use it I may be addicted! I know hairdressers avoid products with silicone just never knew why! Might try the Argan Oil soon when my Morrocan runs out. Thanks Aquavit! Here's to shiny swingy hair!

Well I used it this morning and it has made my hair shiny and curly. I did have to use a bit of curly creme on the ends as they were a bit flyaway ( My hair is fine), but not much. You do only need a tiny amount.

coo that sounds good dexter

lipgloss you can do it! go and check out the curly girl thread and lose the frizz ease!
