Long cashmere sock dilemma, please advise

I have been debating with myself about whether or not to get these (in charcoal). Brora sale ends tomorrow so it's 'last chance saloon' tonight.

I liked them when full price. Now that they are half price, I think I probably should get them. However, I am still tring to be more sensible than I used to be hence the deliberation.

What do you think? Would they work under biker boots with a mini, or are there better bargains still to be had?

Seriously, that's v disappointing for normal wearage.

I was a bit pissed off tbh! I just think they aren't hard wearing enough to be worn as normal socks.
