Sorry to disagree Ladies!

Ive bought a couple of their silk dresses, both gorgeous and neither grey!

I also have 3 of their knitwear tunics (yes 2 of them are grey, one charcoal and one silver) but imo they fit perfectly in the high street gap between Topshop (most of its a bit young for me) and Wallis (need I explain?)

Ive just bought the ruched leggings and "latte" silk top from the new spring range and both are great wulaity, flattering and will get loads of wear I'm sure.

cornsilk · 13/02/2011 14:40

their sales are good so worth hanging on - got my nice cardi thing in the sale last year

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 14:41

I see that Debenhams are doing a fake Principles line by one of their 'designers at' guys. Not seen a single thing I like in there though. It seems to be v workaday black and white in nasty fabrics.

dibdabdob · 13/02/2011 14:41

this would look great on big norks. Arf.

traceybath · 13/02/2011 14:41

Cornsilk - that cardigan is pure Doogle from The Magic Roundabout!

Gillybobs · 13/02/2011 14:41

wulaity?? Oh my. Should have been "quality" obv

Mumsnut · 13/02/2011 14:41

I'm not feeling the love, and I usually buy lots from there.

Maybe too early in the season. But heck, if they can't get their heads around colour THIS spring .....

(mind you, I think the whole colour block thing is going to die a death)

noddyholder · 13/02/2011 14:42

nice

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 14:43

This caught my eye yesterday and is really, really nice - but I look vile in white shirts, sadly. And the shape would make anybody with norkage look enormous.

cornsilk · 13/02/2011 14:44

I love white shirts but am too clumsy so end up with biro all over them

traceybath · 13/02/2011 14:45

Have just had a proper look at the website and my overall impression is just that its dull.

Would it hurt to have a little bit of colour? Especially for spring/summer.

noddyholder · 13/02/2011 14:46

I like dull!

cornsilk · 13/02/2011 14:47

I like the muted shades - very white company. If you want colour there's always Boden Wink

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 14:47

I like this too and the way they've styled it in the 'Urban' style bit is v much the sort of thing I wear. Expensive though.

traceybath · 13/02/2011 14:49

You see I find the white company too dull and shapelss and its a very similar vibe.

I am loving all the colour around this Spring - you look on NAP and its just so cheerful [realises I sound like my mother]

noddyholder · 13/02/2011 14:49

I really like a lot of it That dress looks a good shape.I hate boden-y colour like kids tv presenter. If I want colour I wear lipgloss!

BelligerentGhoul · 13/02/2011 14:59

The nearest I ever get to colour is a pair of red ballet flats worn with black trousers and a black and white Breton!

cornsilk · 13/02/2011 15:00

I have a bit of colourful Boden stuff - I like the dresses for work. Prefer muted stuff though as it goes with everything and doesn't date.

noddyholder · 13/02/2011 15:01

I do have a couple of scarf/pashminas that are colour but no clothes really.

traceybath · 13/02/2011 15:05

I wear a lot of navy, white and silvery grey but do like red/coral/pink/blue too - too much black/grey just makes me feel miserable.

Quite fancy a red dress and a yellow top for spring! But more NAP in style than Boden of course Wink

cornsilk · 13/02/2011 15:05

I dunno what NAp is

traceybath · 13/02/2011 15:07

Netaporter - uber expensive clothes but good for inspiration/styling suggestions and the odd more reasonably priced item.

cornsilk · 13/02/2011 15:08

Aha! God that place is too expensive for me but I like to drool very now and then

noddyholder · 13/02/2011 15:08

I like NAP but it is so expensive that I could never buy colour from there! Would have to be an investment which for me would be grey! I do like red though and have flirted with tartan in my youth.

AintMissBeehiving · 13/02/2011 15:11

Agree wiv Nodders and Corny et al about MV. I like those muted colours and they suit me. My favourite stuff came from there last season. Quality is usually pretty good too. Sales are vv good.
