Has anyone used this longterm? ie at least every day?? What have you noticed about your skin from using longterm? Does it really make a significant difference? Just want to be sure before i stock up.

I tend to alternate between P&P and Olay serums - I like both. Always with a moisturiser on top. I definitely think they suit my skin - they make it feel very velvety and soft, and more plumped up.

NinkyNonker · 12/02/2011 11:48

I switched to p&p when dermalogica suddenly stopped working for me. I like it, but wouldn't rave about it or buy full price (used their £5 off vouchers). Turned 30 the other day and made me think I should start on anti aging stuff! Might try Olay next.

Bunbaker · 13/02/2011 08:12

I can honestly say that I can't really tell if it has made any difference to my skin (I have crap eyesight anyway LOL), but I have always used moisturiser since the age of 15 and am reapiong the benefits now. At 52 I can pass for 42 and I'm sure part of it is due to scrupulous skincare and protection.

sybilfaulty · 13/02/2011 08:25

I didn't find it particularly good for the price but I didn't come out in spots etc. I am currently using the swiss apple serum from superdrug which has got rave reviews and which makes me look refreshed and plump cheeked, which as a 41 year old working mother of 3 I most certainly am not. People actually comment on how well I look when I have been using it.

It's cheap too, esp if you fill in the survey online and get 25% off.

duckyfuzz · 13/02/2011 09:01

I find it good, but it must be followed with moituriser or it really dries my (quite oily) skin out. I have also tried Lancome genefique and love it but ££ and elemis

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 15/02/2011 09:16

Lololizzy would you like the rest of my tube to try? I've used it for a week and am not going to use it anymore as it just doesn't suit my skin. Just let me know where to send it and I'll pop it in the post. I don't want to waste it!

idobelieveinfairies · 15/02/2011 11:12

I used the hydration/hydro moisturiser with it and my skin was still dry in patches. My skin is a bit mad anyway as for a time i was accidently wearing the no.7 night cream as day cream and vice versa and my skin was a lot better, apparetly ther is no sunscreen stuff in the night one.

I have been using the studio secrets primer from l'oreal and fiding it excellent! Definately worth a try.

Rassy · 15/02/2011 15:27

I have used it for ages and it agrees with my skin - am too scared to stop using it now! Also use the intense day cream as well.

gobbledegoop · 15/02/2011 15:37

I began using the p&p serum when it first came out, every night.
Can't tell if it has made a difference or not but someone told me the other day at work i have great skin...
Switched to the p&p night cream in the last few months because i couldn't be bothered to use the serum THEN a moisturiser, maybe that's made a difference! Who knows?!

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 17/02/2011 09:42

Ok, so Lolo has vanished. Anyone else want my barely used tube of Protect & Perfect serum? It's sitting on my desk and I'm feeling guilty about the waste.

lololizzy · 25/02/2011 16:07

oh i' m sorry! this disappeared from 'I'm on' and has only just appeared.
I have decided to give the P&P another go so have just bought some..
that is so kind of you but please let someone who's never tried it have it?! very generous of you. thankyou. Am sure there'd be a worthy taker Smile
btw have been using for a week and does seem to improve my frown lines slightly already

I use the entire P&P regime and have used the serum since it first appeared twice a day every day religiously. I have turned 50 but am told I could pass for under 40. Mind you, my Mother has gorgeous skin for a 75 year old, as did her mother and as do my aunts. So maybe it's genetic!

luvviemum · 05/04/2011 13:31

My skin looked terrible after using this stuff for a while - spotty and irritated. I've binned it and gone back to my old faithful Clarins.

carat · 05/04/2011 15:53

Got a rash that lasted for three weeks - twas not amused!
