Am trying to shake up my style, I constantly wear trousers of all descriptions and cardigans with a vest top underneath, so would like to try a dress with leggings (vague belief this is on trend?!).

I like the look of this dress (more brown I think than 'purple'), thought it would look good with leggings and knee high boots for the rest of winter and spring, but then could also wear it with sandals in the summer.

I am a size 16 pear shape.

I am also a size 16...I would not wear this as the elasticated waist would hightlight my love handles! If you really are a pear go for a size 18 so it skims rather than shows up the curves!

I like it. Think it looks stylish. If the elasticated waist does not sit right, wear a waist cincher belt with it- maybe a tan leather one.

It is nice but beware with the colours on the M&S website, I was looking at some shoes which looked tan on the picture but when I went into the store they were more grey. So whilst the dress looks brown, if it says purple mix it may be much more purple IYSWIM?

Dress is lovely but I think this style might not work on a pear shape. It seems to emphasise the divide between a smaller top half (with the elastic detail) and a larger bottom. Sorry : (
