HELP - where can I get a pearl necklace repaired

DH bought me a string of pearls for my 30th a few years ago. They are longish - with no clasp - necklace slips over head.

Anyway, DS pulled them and they snapped. They were around £200 and it seems such a shame not to wear anymore.

Can anyone recommend where I can get them repaired and what it will cost.

Local jewellers will be able to restring them.
Price depends on length and whether they're cultured or not. You can also have a clasp added if you wish.

I'm thinking £30 upwards depending on length

I had my mum's 18" string of antique pearls restrung at Mappin & Webb. It cost £70. I got them knotted which I think is more expensive as they put a knot in between each pearl but it's worth doing as if it breaks you won't loose all of the pearls. I think you may be able to get them fixed without restringing the lot of them if they are knotted, by just having the part that's snapped fixed which would be fine if they are new but if they antique or you've had them a while it may be worth getting the whole string replaced.

Local jeweller fixed my 40" string (with knots) for £25

Thank you all.
DH got them in John Lewis and they looked at my blankly when I asked if they knew of a repair service.

I like them without a clasp but I think getting them knotted may be a good idea. Looking at them, they were double stringed but not knotted.
