Your Wardrobe - 'rainbow chaos' or a 'select palette of colours'

Do all you clothes match colourwise or is it just chaos in there?

If something is the 'wrong' colour but you love it do you still buy it?

Begining to think this is why I have a room full of clothes but nothing to wear. I feel a mid-life goth crsis coming on - at least everything matched then. Grin

I would say mine is rainbow chaos! I only own one black item of clothing!

i do not possess anything orange or brown

because they make me look dead

i am starting to think navy may also be guilty of this too

actually, tell a lie,i have 1 orange dress but it is proper bright like a satsuma orange, not burnt orange. that i can get away with

i have a lot of purple and pink :)

My wardrobe is based around grey and neutrals because I suit wishy washy colours and like Mint Velvet.

BUT I have strong colours - cobalt blue/emerald green too because they suit me.

I have shoes in all sorts of colours and prints.

I've never been impressed with the idea of having your colours done - people I know who have generally tend to look very obviously matchy matchy and to wear quite bright or unusual colours just because they have been told by an 'expert' that it suits them. On the other hand maybe I'm just jealous because it costs a fortune and I can't afford it, I'd prefer to spend my money on actual clothes and take my chances.

My wardrobe consists of lots of black, white and grey plus quite rich or 'jewel' kind of colours because I think that's what suits me - red, indigo blue and purple, some green and the odd bit of chocolate brown. Don't wear pastels much or anything in the yellow/orange spectrum because they don't feel very me.

Don't wear a lot of patterns either although am trying to get into them a bit more as they do add interest to my often fairly plain outfits - prefer quite small scale patterns though, I'm not that tall (although fairly wide Blush) so anything too big or dramatic makes me look rather like a walking armchair.

Never had my colours done but think I look best in navy, mid grey / charcoal, cream, beige, caramel... Most of my wardrobe is in these colours.

However, I have a muted pink jumper that I love, the odd piece of mustard knitwear and have just bought a printed maxi dress for summer which is pinks and white.

Black does tend to drain me so I tend to stick to black skinny trousers with a more flattering colour on top. If I wear a black dress, I wear a fine wool scarf with it to 'lift' it.

I have a lot of neutrals - brown, cream, grey, black, navy. And purple. I seem to own lots of purple.

No reds, pinks, yellows, oranges. Occasionally I go crazy and buy something green. Just to live life on the edge.
