In my bid to rid myself of wearing jeans on a daily bais I am now on the look out for a dress to wear in the daytime. I am 5'4" and size 12/14, big norks but quite good legs. I am not flush with cash right now so the cheaper end of the high street would be best for me at the moment. Say £60 max. Any ideas?

HM site doesn't do links but if you go to hm.com, then dresses, then 4th page, second from the right- breton sweater dress, very good quality, very good fit and very flattering on. Worth trying!

Warehouse have quite a lot of nice day dresses in that kind of price range, take a look online.

Feelingsensitive · 07/02/2011 16:46

Thanks. I like the Breton dress except wil it cling to my lumps and bumps? Will ordet to find out. Will check out Warehouse later. Thanks for that also. Have to do dinner now so wil be back later.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 07/02/2011 20:11

Monsoon Fusion are good - cheaper than normal Monsoon.

Feelingsensitive · 07/02/2011 20:20

Really DB? I am in thw world of frump-da-frump and trying to break out. Have been a SAHM for 3 years and desperate to lose the jeans. Will look at monsoon fusion. Thank you.

" like the Breton dress except wil it cling to my lumps and bumps? Will ordet to find out. " -

it shouldn't really. it's quite loose, i'm almost 5 months pregnant and almost don't show when wear it. and the quality is really good- tbh the last time i bought smth from HM was ages ago- but really pleased i went to check their maternity section and found it (maternity was horrible by the way). went there today and bought the second one in a different colour.
