Am still searching for the ONE!!

Ditto re gettig comments about looking tired!

Will keep watching this tread!

I've used Soap & Glory eye serum (the one in the tube not the one in the pot, am having a brain-spazz can't remember it's name) and it was pretty good at tightening. When I'm tired my eyelids get heavy & this did a fair job of returning them to their normal position!

3gorgeousboys · 07/02/2011 11:05

Gah! You won't believe your eyes. That's it's name.

pagwatch · 07/02/2011 11:07

Brain- spazz?
Really ?

DamnYouAutocorrect · 07/02/2011 12:58

Has anyone tried haemarrhoid cream under the eyes, or is that an urban myth? Scared to try it in case all my skin falls off...

I'm using Boots P+P eye cream. Not noticing any dramatic effects if I'm honest

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 07/02/2011 16:25

Have tried haemarroid cream.. Blush Erm.... Well I don't have piles under my eyes but do still have bags!

I tried Ibuprofen Gel BlushBlush,

Keep meaning to try icy tea bags but

Maybe they just dont work, and I am thinking maybe it's time to try Imedeen or Perfectil. which some argue do more of a job than creams anyway together with drinking more water!
(I am nowhere near the 8 glasses of water recommended {hmm], so that maybe be to blaME)

cornsilk · 08/02/2011 10:08

3gorgeousboys Hmm

decleor excellence de l'age is very good

PlentyOfParsnips · 08/02/2011 10:10

I nearly bought one of those Garnier eye roll-on things the other day, then I noticed that the active ingredients are caffein and antioxidants, so ... same as teabags, really Grin. I haven't got round to actually trying the teabags yet though - do they have to be ice cold?

TattyDevine · 08/02/2011 11:03

I have tried Anusol and it really does tighten it up. Its not exactly expensive so I'd give it a go if I were you. I use it for special occasions.

If you are ageing, it might not be so much that you have actual eye bags but that the crease underneath them, which is apparent when you smile, is starting to lose collagen (wrinkle basically) which has an effect of underlining the bag thus defining it. These are called "tear troughs" and can actually be treated with fillers. They fill in the recess so all the skin is as full as the rest and the appearance of the bag is reduced or eradicated.

If it really is a proper bag though, not a tear trough, this wont work. If you have proper fatty deposits under there as opposed to just fluid build up due to tiredness or allergies etc then nothing really will work apart from surgery.

If that is the case you either accept them or you change them. Accept is good!

berri · 08/02/2011 13:04

The Molton Brown eye rescue stuff is really good - bags seem to get sucked up by it. I think you might be able to ask them for a little sample, and it works straight away if you see what I mean, you don't have to use it for a month or anything to see a difference, so you'd know straight away if you wanted to buy some.

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 08/02/2011 15:34

Thank you.... Smile

I am undoubtedly aging and generally go with the flow of my body but the bags, well Hmm

Maybe I look and see tired and haggard so feel it!

I might work through much of what is recommended and see how they go before I wind up with the baggage department of a small airline company to contend with..

But thanks again.

You need to put less moisturiser under your eyes, as too much product gets soaked up and can make them look more puffy. HTH

MittzyBittzyTeenyWeeny · 08/02/2011 22:02

oohhhh.. yes! Have been slathering it on liberally GrinBlush Thank you.

Worked a treat, dont know if would use regulaarly

hugebelly · 08/02/2011 22:50

At the mo, I'm using Clarins Advanced Extra Firming Eye Contour Serum and I really like it.

It's even better with Eye Revive Beauty Flash - if you use the flash for the face, you'll know what I mean.

AmazingDisgrace · 09/02/2011 13:11

Clarins Eye revive beauty flash is ace, only thing that works on my puffy tired baggy eyes some days

sweetheart · 09/02/2011 21:54

Hmm I think I have the tear toughs problem and am thinking about going to a local clinic for a consultation - much to dh's disgust! I turn 30 soon and I'm sick of looking permenatly tired due to the lines (not so much bags) under my eyes.

Agree with you pagwatch - horrible. Didn't think things like this ever went without criticism.
