Prom dress shopping in London

I am going shopping for a prom dress with my dd in London at half term. Where should I go?
I can't spend more than £200.
Come on you London Ladies - Share your secrets!

TK Maxx! Got loads to choose from in there, for a fraction of your £200.

Top Shop? Lipsy???? Actually, come the spring/summer, most shops should have loads. Not sure they'll have them in yet, though.

Sorry, that wasn't really very helpful, was it?!

IIRC my DD got hers from River Island.
I think Lipsy have a shop in London somewhere too, or in BANK

Monsoon, too!

Thanks Ladies, but I was hoping for shops that we don't have access to up here in the frozen North.
BTW they all wear full length ball gowns around here Hmm

Ah. I'm not sure they do the full Cinderella ball gown here ... certainly not where we are. It's more "cocktail" dressy. How old is your DD?

WorldsSlowestTypist · 04/02/2011 13:06

She is almost 16

What about this?
It's not quite a ball gown though :o

WorldsSlowestTypist · 04/02/2011 13:19

It is gorgeous but not her colour. She looks great in bright strong colours - especially red. Blues and greens are good too

If you're up for a bit of online shopping then asos have many many prom dresses

WorldsSlowestTypist · 04/02/2011 13:29

Thanks but we are looking forward to making an event of it. I thought that there would be loads of individual boutiques recommended - is my budget too small for that?
