I was just wondering where other people save their money in the realm of all things 'Style & Beauty' and where do you splash the cash?

Mine are:

Spend on -

Hair products
Hairdresser
Handbags (and then wear them until they fall apart)
Scarves and gloves
Spectacles
Everyday (casual) shoes
Trainers for running
Make-up
Moisturiser
Perfume

Save on -

Clothes (eBay and charity shops)
Coats (eBay)
Smart/dressy shoes and boots (eBay)
Gym clothes
Cleansers
Undies and socks

Obviously this is relative to your own budget.

Splurge:
Shoes - I hate cheap shoes with a passion.
Sandals - I prefer leather-soled ones and they're always pricey.
Knitwear - cheap knitwear looks awful for the most part.
Clothes in general - I prefer fewer, more expensive items to tonnes of high street stuff.
Coats - a good quality coat is a must for feeling stylish.
Work clothes - good quality dresses and jackets only.

Save:
Hairdressers - I cut my own hair.
Make up and skin care - I buy a small amount of good quality stuff that lasts for ages.
Jeans - Topshop/Gap/French Connection in the sales. I've never seen the point of designer jeans.
Underwear - boring Gap underwear mostly.
Beauty treatments - cheapo diy treatments only.

Glasses - my current pair are three years old and counting.
Going out clothes - I don't really buy flashy going-out clothes; I prefer the understated look.

Def relative to own budget, I shop at the bargainous Primark so much that sometimes think that normal high street stuff is spalshing out!!!!

Spend - £££:
Handbags (am a mulberry convert - is only thing I properly will spend what I consider to be a fortune on and only ever when I get annual bonus at work)
Moisturiser

Spend-ish - ie from Next/M&S regular high street:
1or2 proper winter coats per year
Leggings
Jeans
Work trousers
Evening tops/dresses
Boots

Save ie from budget hight street - means 99% Primark for me and sometimes sainsbury's!:
Most other things!!
Jumper dresses
Cardigans
Ballet pumps
Basic l/sleeved tshirts or tunics
