Oooh - i love the honeysuckle one - and the clean cotton one.

And at Christmas time - i love the red apple!

I now use the wax tarts just in any old oil burner, they last ages.
Midnight jasmine in the living-room and blueberry scone in the kitchen.
(at least it smells like I bake)

valiumredhead · 03/02/2011 17:33

I use the wax tars too - only about a quid each from Yankedoodle and last AGES!

brimfull · 03/02/2011 18:15

and you say they last ages

I use the tarts too. I have a proper Yankee Candle burner and everything Grin They do last forever.
My local Yankee shop had sets of a burner plus 5 (I think) tarts for a tenner. Not bad value.

Clean Cotton

Sun and sand - reminds me of home and holidays. I have shade that goes over it and the light glows through it, so that probably makes me doubly naff.

Just to give you an idea of how long the tarts last...Was burning a blueberry scone tart since at least September, Come Christmas-time it still was'nt finished and I really wanted to get the Christmas fragrances going so in my wisdom I ran the hot tap into the oil burner so I could clean it.

Could'nt figure out why my sink was blocked the next day OOPS.

My local TK MAX always stocks Yankee doodles for £4.99, so what if they common Shock they the only ones that smell exactly like the description

pissedrightoff... the tarts never disappear they just lose their fragrance..so I think for a good few weeks you may have just been burning the wax lol!

ggirl I use a (cheap)plain burner -one that's too small to put the whole tart in . I just crumble a bit in - smells for the whole time the tea light is lit .
