have been in these since Weds evening - I've got the flu!

I am virtually surgically attached to my heels!

Today is dress-down Friday though, so despite the fact that I would normally wear heels even today, I have a seriously sore back and will be standing a lot, so:

dark blue straight-leg jeans
grey long-sleeved t-shirt
grey and black striped jumper
brown Uggs

Kiki - yeah but 5 1/2 inches. Your must have insteps of iron girl.

I cant last two hours in that height with out party feet gel insoles and a day of pain afterwards. Not for want of trying. sigh so many pretty shoes in Kurt Geiger - so much pain....

Heh. The way I see it, there are pretty shoes and there are comfortable shoes. Pretty shoes are never comfortable, and comfortable shoes are never pretty. So we have to compromise. I choose pain most of the time (some shoes are of course less painful than others!).

The relief when I put my Uggs on at the weekends, though, is amazing. Warm, comfortable and hideous

Kiki - with you all the way - why is it that pretty shoes are so painful and the vice versa true? And yes uggs, uggly but comfy. Case in point. But does the argument breakdown with crocs? Ugly, uncomfortable, cold (and drafty)???

But respect is due 5 1/2 for work is a feat. I got some stunners from KG in the sale- but they totally kill my tootsies. Defo for evening only :-)

I will sound like I'm dressed as a child. I have a Tintin t-shirt on, with Snowy's face. It says 'Milou' rather than Snowy, as it was bought in the Tintin museum on a forrin oliday.

That being so - only thing that puts me off the splurge is the "what colour tights to wear' question. Alas not fully resolved in my head as yet
