Leggings

Where can I buy some decent leggings, preferably over the internet.

I'm 5'7", size 12-14. I'm looking for leggings that will not bobble, sag or slip.

Any ideas?

Buy very thick footless tights.

Don't boble or sag and they dry a lot quicker than normal leggings.

I am 5'8" and a 12 and get them from M&S or John Lewis.

Nike Dri-fit are brilliant if you want them for sport.

I am 5ft10 and like the American Apparel jersey ones - think they are called winter leggings or something like that. Very thick and don't sag at all. Go for a bigger size than normal though as I am a size 12 and need the large as the medium are too tight on the waist.

Boden leggings v v good

snowbobby · 29/01/2011 20:44

Would also recommend Boden leggings

Boden leggings sold out last season due to being so good...got my order in early this time!

snowbobby · 29/01/2011 21:00

They sold out of my size so I had to go a size larger but they are still a great fit and don't go saggy.

NoseyNooNoo · 29/01/2011 21:02

Thanks for the tips.

Is the sizing true for Boden, e.g. American Apparel is big. I'm a size 12, and had to go for small in their range.

asos used to be good but they've changed the fabric and the latest ones are cheap and nasty Sad

The White Company have the best I've tried; really thick and a soft and comfortable waistband that goes good and high. Bit short in the ankle possibly. I wear a large and I'm 14-16.

Asda £6 ones!

Had to buy an emergency pair of leggings back in October after parking too close to thorney/spikeyir hedge and ripping a hole in my footless tights enroute to a day out miles from home.

Pissed off that my outfit for the day out had been "ruined" was surprised when I got to my destination and that day 2 of my friends commented on my leggings - not thin/ asked where I got them etc etc. Thought it was just because they were new but I have to admit to wearing them frequently ever since. I now own 3 pairs of Asda £6 leggings. They are washed after 1 wear in a normal dark load and tumbled if I am tumble drying. They still fit nice have no bobbling or thin patches.

Wish I could say somewhere more glamourous but at £6 a pair I am not complaining! Just wish they did the exact same ones in navy or something!

HeroShrew I was really disapointed with my White Company leggings. I bought a pair with a gift voucher and eventhough they are great quality they keep needing to be hoiked up! I'm a 10/12 and bought a medium. I would have sent them back but I had already destroyed the delivery note.... They were fine when I initially tried them on!
