I often love the shape of tea dresses and the overall look of the print but then on closer inspection, the prints just don't live up to much.

Have you seen any nice ones around please?

Can I ask what you'd wear with one in the summer?

This time of year I like to wear shorter dresses over jeans and boots, but having lost a fair bit of weight I'm thinking of venturing out in a few nice dresses in the summer and a like the tea dress style.

I'm concerned about (whispers) "rubbing" without tights (might not happen now but has been a problem in the past), but wearing tights restricts shoe choice.

Tea, do you mean shoes-wise? I've just posted on another thread about shoes and tea dresses, and I'd go for chunky low-wedge shoes and sandals, but also plimsols or flat sandals. Just nothing too lady-like, if you know what I mean. Slouchy cardie or denim jacket on top, depending on the design of the dress. In respect to rubbing, don't miss out on lovely dresses and feeling cool in summer, you could try abit of vaseline or that stuff that people doing sports use to stop chafing(Sportshield?).

vivienne of Holloway

I loved the bigeautifulbarabarbrown website.I saw loads of stuff I liked but would be too nervous of ordering because of the no return policy.
