I am in posession of these in plum. I am sick to death of having cold hands - leather gloves and cashmere gloves have still left me with blocks of ice for hands so in desperation I thought I'd try these....but will I look like a moron? What alternative could anyone suggest? I can't understand why my hands are always so cold - DH's are always toasty warm when we've been out and he hasn't worn gloves but I have, he has to warm mine up by rubbing them!

They are lovely! If you are cold wear them, fgs!

sassyTHEFIRST · 27/01/2011 12:28

I do BUT ONLY on the coldest day. They look like bear paws (ie ridiculous).

I think the "You might also like" says it all really Confused

As long as they are not attached to her coat by strings...

Catsmamma · 27/01/2011 14:21

I would IF I was dog walking, but not otherwise.

One of the advantages to be a grown woman is, actually, you can wear what the fuck you like without worrying about what other people think. :)
Wear your mittens with pride. We won't laugh very much

Hmmmm .....mixed opinions. It would just be for the school run. Actually, compared to most mums here I am the very epitome of style Wink so I don't know why I am worrying!

A grown woman can wear mittens but only as long as they are black leather.See COS £49 www.cosstores.com/gb/site/home__start.nhtml#65ffaaa9-efc9-44dc-af14-d4a29f813711.img

I've been wearing mittens recently, and love them! They look a bit like that, but are aran-coloured and don't have fleece in.

Yes, I have a scandi/nordic pair my husband gave me for Christmas, I feel happy each time I put them on. Would not wear to work though!

dottyaboutstripes · 28/01/2011 11:31

I wore them. I had warm hands :o I don't think I care if they look ridiculous or not!

Of course, I have grey ones, the mitten bit is a flap that you can button back and underneath they are fingerless gloves, they're great!

I might draw the line at putting them on a string though Wink

I've got those mittens op!!! Mine are brown and soooo warm. They come up narrow. Before I was wearing gloves and mittens at the same time. I only wear them on very cold days.
