I can't stop doing straight hair. I did wean myself off it and then went to stay with my SIL. When we were all about to go out, she came in and said to me "I've left the straighteners on for you in my room."

I have had a hard time convincing myself that my messy hair is in fact surfer chic since then.

we are not amused.

The problem with straightening is my "real" hairdo looks increasingly like Jo Brand's without them.
