Joules stock

So disappointed with Joules right now. Waited for them to get new stock of Carrick boots. Ordered them on 28 Dec. Got them and they'd sent me 2 odd boots. Sent them back straight away. They called today to say they're out of stock again and won't be back in until the end of March! This is the 1st time I've ordered from them. I suspect it'll be the last. Anyone have similar probs with them?

Funny as I placed a pre-order for some brogues a couple of weeks ago, the date given when they would be in stock was the 17th January.
I have tracked my order and it still shows as "placed" I really should give them a ring tomorrow. This is the first time I have shopped at Joules and have a funny feeling it´s not going to end well...

Another company has the boots in stock. I think they're on their way to me now. Will contact Joules to cancel and query why there was no apology for their mistake, no offer to refund the postage I've paid (twice) and no discount on the order they've placed for me (I have a brochure they sent with 10% off). Decidedly peeved.

Always complain! I ordered two dressing gowns for the dss for Christmas. Got an acknowledgement. Then got an email thanking me for returning one of them (never received it!). Phoned to query it and was told that the colours I ordered were out of stock in one of the sizes. Was told that the one I had allegedly returned had actually been delivered to the wrong address! I complained and complained and eventually got two sent in the second choice colour, next day delivery, with 40% discount. I don't think their computer system can actually cope with the volume of orders they get.

I really rate Joules and have ordered from them a few times and all has been fine. I have a top currently on order which is due in stock 6/2 - after your comments, I will keep an eye that this arrives

I ordered from them the first time just after christmas and I thought they were really fantastic, with keeping you informed and when the goods arrived excellent quality.

You could try a few of their stores to see if they have some left.

Re the brogues, I ordered some brogues from the Chelmsford store the other day - out of stock online. They sent them direct to me.

I found them very helpful.

They are usually pretty good. Probably 'end of sale blues' atm.
What a shame for you though :(
