how about these? lovely shoes

FaffTastic · 26/01/2011 19:20

What colour tights would you be thinking of? Think the dress is already quite bright looking without the need for coloured tights. IMO the only colour tights that would go would be purple or grey which could look a bit Hmm

If wearing with tights (coloured or black) think a non-clumpy pair of shoe boots would look nice.

something like this

MissBeehiving · 26/01/2011 19:27

Agree with Faff on the tights. And agree with Faff on the shoes. Smile
These are fab, apparently

3littlefrogs · 26/01/2011 19:34

So - black or flesh coloured tights? (middle aged, frump emoticon)

I like all the shoes...(usually wears middle aged frump work shoes)

Ooh, yes I have the above autograph ones in black and wear them to work with skirts and dresses. They are great and really comfy and the patent heel jazzes them up a bit. Get those ones (in black) rather than the ones from my link.

You have such great taste MissBee Smile

MissBeehiving · 26/01/2011 19:37

That's because I'm agreeing with you on everything tonight Faff. Fashion twins for the night. Grin

Cyb · 26/01/2011 19:39

whats the ocasion?

I woudl say black opaques if dressy with hidden platform black suede heels/shoe boots

I will link to my fave Marks pair

Cyb · 26/01/2011 19:43

these in black

I might even do dark purple tights

FaffTastic · 26/01/2011 19:48

3frogs - please don't wear flesh colour tights with it!

Menagerie · 26/01/2011 19:49

M&S do gorgeous coloured tights which are a purplish slate grey and would go really well with that dress.

I'd put it with shoes like these in the grey.

Or higher heels in grey, black or purple.

Dress is lovely btw.

MissBeehiving · 26/01/2011 19:50

3 frogs - get the M&S shoeboots - you now have three recommendations!

No to flesh tights.

3littlefrogs · 26/01/2011 19:51

Not a specific occasion - I have just lost my way a bit, and am trying to smarten up and have a couple of things to wear when (very rarely) invited out for dinner or drinks.

I just want to have something nice in the wardrobe so that don't feel miserable and depressed....God I sound pathetic don't I?

I bought the dress to treat myself.

Think dolly style shoes or ankle straps frumpy with that dres. Needs funking up

3littlefrogs · 26/01/2011 19:52

BTW - I hate flesh coloured tights and never wear them Grin

FaffTastic · 26/01/2011 19:53

3frogs - you are under strict instructions by at least 3 of us to get the autograph shoeboots in black. Do it! {smile}

3littlefrogs · 26/01/2011 19:54

PS - I am in my fifties - so don't want to be mutton dressed as lamb. Am told I only look fortyish though. (Possibly only by people not wearing their specs...)

Cyb · 26/01/2011 19:55

Faff the Asos ones you linked to nice

That dress NEEDS a shoe boot

3littlefrogs · 26/01/2011 19:55

I love the autograph shoe boots. DD is coming to pronounce judgement. She doesn't mince her words.

Frump shoes will make you look older

don't do it

if its just for standing around at evening do's go for a high heel
