Aldi Lacura cosmetics - blinkin marvellous

Have to say these products are very superior for the price - face cream just under £2. The facial wash for sensitive skin is brilliant - I have very sensitive eyes and didnt sting at all and removes eye makeup too.

Why spend more? Cant see the point as all these claims are purely rubbish regarding ageing. Sure most of it is in the mind of the user. If the pot upsets you so much pour the contents into an expensive one - no one will be any wiser. A flash chanel pot filled with Aldi cream on the bathroom shelf!

I'm sold anyway.

My favourite eyeshadow is an Aldi one. Also have a couple of their lipsticks and always use their anil varnish.

I love the under eye concealer.

The night cream is great for my dry sensitive skin.

I love the moisturiser. I've been using it for aobut a year now. Very light and nice to use.

ROFL at Anil varnish!Grin

I'll def have a look next time in Aldi. I tried a lipstick from there once, but I thought it felt sort of 'gritty' when it was on; but that was ages ago so maybe it's different now.

I was trying to choose a moisture cream in town the other day (in Boots). God what a mind blowing nightmarish choice! And when they're expensive - as most of them are - how on earth do you know which one is right without making a costly mistake?Confused

As it turns out I did make a mistake and accidentally bought night cream Hmm

Some of the stuff available in Netto and Lidl is good too. And I like Wilkinson's sensitive cleanser (75p). You just have to give these things a go and see what happens. as they only cost a couple of quid, it doesn't matter too much if they're not good.

I know this thread is a couple of weeks old but just had to add how great the Lacura range at Aldi is !! I use the q10 day cream and night cream and they are amazing !! They are as good, if not better, than any of the premium priced creams I have used.

The serum is also amazing...my 'cant live without' product by far ! I always get compliments on how great and radiant my skin looks, and its all thanks to Lacura - and at £2 for the creams and £3.49 for the serum you can't go wrong !!

Another vote for the serum, it's brilliant stuff - I never noticed my pores before but after about 2 weeks of using this I realised my skin looked smoother - on closer inspection I think my pores are much less obvious Smile

It smells very very chemically though, I nearly stopped using it because of the heavy scent.

This is my can't live without product too (along with Trilogy Rosehip Oil)

I love the stuff. I use the Lacura serum and I have acne, with lovely big enlarged pores across my cheeks. After about two weeks of using the serum at night, my pores have shrunk and the red marks from old spots have faded a hell of a lot.

I ran out and bought their Q10 day cream, the Q10 night cream and the caffeine eye roll-on. I am a convert. Grin

Its funny actually as when I first started using them I hated the smell, but after seeing how great they are for my skin I have begun to love the smell and actually take a big whiff when applying lol !!
