Help....

I'm coming up 45 and have decided I need to get something done with my hair; look younger though.

I have quite long, very fine hair (lots of it but it's so fine it doesn't look like I have masses).

I have a natural centre parting with a small cow lick, and my hair is very slightly wavy.

I had my hair coloured a good few months back so it's slightly darker than my usual mousy brown.

I don't have much time to do anything with my hair - very busy FT job, and single parent (up at 6.30 as it is!).

I also have very, very little spare cash so can't afford to get my hair done every few months.

I'd like to keep the length so I can put my hair up, have a pony tail when I feel like it, or put in some curls and make it cute.

I have been toying with a fringe but I'm not sure it's very me and once it's done there's no going back. I wear glasses so this is also an issue.

I can't remember the last time I went to the hairdressers (a few yeas back) but my hair isn't in bad condition.

Help me someone - I'm South Hampshire based

I have very fine hair, and centre parting too.
I have my hair layered which gives it more 'body' on the top,and makes it look thicker, i also have a fringe, but not blunt cut-its kind of 'tapered' which is a bit softer.

Plus a fringe hides the forehead wrinkles.. Grin
(I'm a teeny bit older than you)
