here.

Verdicts please.

All I have to say is Helena Bonham-Carter. Dear God what were you thinking?

January Jones, put your baps away.

Christina Hendricks, check.
Lara Spencer (who she?) check.

Otherwise they all look, dare I say it, a bit meh.

(though obv better than i would. Except H B-C).

I love HBC, clearly doesn't give a shit. All the others are over styled Looks like she let's her DC choose the outfits!

Hate nude dresses.

FGM · 17/01/2011 22:46

Has Tilda Swinton converted to Amish? Great actress but foul dress-thing.

PortBlacksandEventually · 17/01/2011 22:46

Angelina's dress is such an odd colour. Kind of eighties bathroom.

PortBlacksandEventually · 17/01/2011 22:49

ROFL at 'write caption here' under Natalie Portman - aaah - top journalism there....Grin

PortBlacksandEventually · 17/01/2011 22:52

Kelly Osborne's dress is pretty.

Tilda Swinton looks as if she borrowed a random blokes shirt and the hotel bedsheets (maybe she did - that would be cool)

bibbitybobbityhat · 17/01/2011 22:53

Halle Berry and January Jones look like they've turned up to the wrong awards ceremony.

I agree, any shade of nude/beige/peach is a bugger to get right. It suits almost no-one.

Tilda always makes me hyperventilate with stress. She so obviously hates looking like woman I wonder why she doesn't just wear a tux and be done with it. That very 80's japanese androgonous Commes de Garcons thing she does needs a bit of strong make-up to set it off. Otherwise you look like a corpse in shroud. Bonkers woman.

PortBlacksandEventually · 17/01/2011 22:54

Oh and 'food critic Katie Lee' has never even looked at food let alone criticized it.

erm...time to leave the thread Blush

FellatioNelson · 17/01/2011 22:55

I really like Natalie Portman's. Am I alone? Grin

I want to say the rose is the wrong colour (it is) but I kind of like the clash.

Marlinspike · 17/01/2011 22:55

Eva LP's was STUNNUNG! Less is more - no bling at all!

Didn't like halle Berrys

Lea Michele - loved the dress, but not keen on that colour

Catherine ZJ - beautiful colour and cut, material just a tad heavy - also I'd love to see her in something less structured, and with her hair down - she looks too old for her years

Amy Adams - gorgeous blue one shouldered number

Helem Mirren - classy as ever!

LOVED Olivia Wilde - fairytale tulle, black with loads of crystals...aah

FellatioNelson · 17/01/2011 22:59

I liked Amy's too, but it would have been better with just one ruffle, not two - slightly OTT. I adore that shade of deep inky blue though.

BitOfFun · 17/01/2011 23:40

I thought Halle's dress was dull and looked like she had made no effort. I'm not getting Eva Longoria's either- I don't like the train.

brimfull · 17/01/2011 23:51

My fave is Angelina Jolies.

mathanxiety · 18/01/2011 06:51

My favourites were Catherine Zeta Jones in dark green (a gorgeous colour with her dark hair and pale skin and the dress had a lovely shape and structure) Mila Jojovich in a pale greeny chiffon, understated but elegant, Kailey Cuoco in pale pink/cream strapless - sweet nd not overdone, Christina Hendricks in RED - love red hair with a red dress - and Hailee Steinfeld in white with an interesting high neckline that made something of her shape. And Helen Mirren looked beautiful.

I don't like trains on dresses or dresses that look chopped like Halle Berry's. Christina Aguilera's looked like an ice-skating costume and I didn't like Heidi Klum's 70s effort; pink and brown and stripes in general are too much like the dress wearing you, Anne Hathaway's dress looked like a mermaid costume imo. And I agree on Angelina Jolie's dress looking like eighties bathroom Grin. I think tattoos spoil the look on whoever has them.

FellatioNelson · 18/01/2011 10:52

I adore Eva's, but I suspect it only looks any good when she's standing still. It must be a bugger to walk around in, and she'll need a lady in waiting to keep laying that skirt out straight.
