Hello,Can anyone reassure me that I haven't
made a mistake in ordering a bag?:(

I'm usless with links but its on The Outnet website, the Marc jacobs quilted one in magenta, not a colour I would ever normally go for.

It seemed like quite a good buy and I found myself purchasing! Can you tell I dont normally spend so much on bags? HELP

wow thats not expensive for a handbag

holy cow, even a bag that lasts years and years should never cost that much its so unneccessary (sp?)

but if you are fine with that then go for it

re. the colour...hmm I like it but then I would just use it with everything and look unmatched cause I dont do outfits and mainstream fashion

I would be worried for you that you will have to buy another to go with other outfits

I think the bag is very ugly too but the colour is very nice

I'm still in two minds about the colour. My gut instinct is that its not for me,I dont wear pink.

I have blonde hair and always think with pink clothes/accessories it looks to "Legally Blonde" not the look I'm going for.

I don't like the colour or the shape, its a bit odd. Are you sure you are not buying it for the label/perceived bargain price?

DonaAna · 17/01/2011 18:00

Should I want a magenta Marc Jacobs bag from Outnet, I'd probably go for this one . I impulse bought a metallic green bag a year ago - it looked like car paint. I was a bit unsure about it in the beginning, but ended up wearing it with everything. Magenta, however, is much more difficult - probably wouldn't buy.

I like the bag but not the colour. I wouldn't have anything in my wardrobe to go with it but then I'm not really a pink person ifywim

FaffTastic · 17/01/2011 18:09

Actually, correction, I would prob have lots that would go with it as think it would really liven up a black, grey or navy outfit but am still not a pink handbag kind of person!

Now, Dona, that truly is like an elephant's scrotum.

I'm going to go against the flow and say that I love the colour but I don't like the bag! I can't bear quilted bags, I think they look mumsy.

That's just me. Cointreauversial.

I get the impression you don't think you'll use because it's not the sort of colour you'd enjoy using normally. I sometimes buy stuff like that because I think I should get something bit different from the brown / black / red bags I've already got. But the more unusual ones do tend to be the ones that languish in the wardrobe. I don't think you love it because of the colour. Send it back and get something you do love and will use.

It's a verrry long way more than I would ever spend on a bag, but can see the colour might look good with muted navy etc though personally I think quilting looks a bit chavvy/wag

LetThemEatCake · 22/01/2011 00:11

I bought this one last year - same colour and designer, diff style - and it's become one of my most used items. Really like it, immensely cheering to have a colourful handbag in drab weather too.

anyway, no such thing as a mistake at t'outnet - just send it back if you don't like it/ have buyer's remorse when it comes Smile
