Now that we are a few years on from all the fuss and hype made about this cream...has anyone that has used it found it really was any good?

I have never bought it, because when it first came out I didn't think my skin really needed it. I am a bit of a simpleton when it comes to products - but I have always used a good moisturiser. However, I have now noticed the start of a few lines, and tired looking skin, so I wondered if it really is worth the price?

Appreciate any advice.

I tried the moisturiser a few months ago and wish I hadn't. It was too rich for my skin and made it all congested, still have some lumps under my skin now. I ended up using it as body moisturiser instead.

i do. it's marvelous. i lve it. although i use a mix of clinique moisturiser and P&P. depending on what my skin is feeling like.

I have tried the whole range- moisturiser, eye cream, serum etc - all excellent and made a difference. At the mo I am a convert to Olay 3 point serum - it's a bit pricey (but aren't they all!) but it lasts for ages and has really helped my saggy old face complexion. Grin

I've used it for a couple of years and can't say that I'm that impressed.BUT I don't know what state my skin would be in if I hadn't used it.On the other hand I certainly don't get spots now,for the first time ever and I work outdoors all year round,so my face takes a bit of a battering from the sun and wind. Most people think I'm a lot younger than I am,so perhaps it has made a difference?

Not much help,am I?

hidingmytrueidentity · 15/01/2011 21:50

I use it. If I don't for a while my skin seems more dull and shallow. I only use the basic pump once a day thing. I wait until a good points offer to get it.

Tbh I think it's genes. My granny band my mother have fab skin and I don't look my age (Or I am deceiving myself)

My granny used ponds cold cream every day- my mother uses clinique. My granny had amazing skin- like a peach at 85.

CointreauVersial · 15/01/2011 21:55

I use the serum - it's brilliant.

Catsmamma · 15/01/2011 21:58

I use the intense one....it used to be called rewind and refine

i have never used anything up till a couple of years ago and feel i ought to do something!

I like it, tis not claggy or gloopy and sinks in nicely without making my face shiney or slicky.

...they should write that on the box.

hidingmytrueidentity · 15/01/2011 22:01

Serum is what I use- each morning before foundation goes on.

hidingmytrueidentity · 15/01/2011 22:02

It's on 3 for 2 at the moment.

The Avon renewal serum is usually cheaper (around £14-18 depending on offer) and works really well too.

chandellina · 16/01/2011 19:34

i love the intense serum and think it does do something to make my skin look fresher.

Lizzywishes · 16/01/2011 23:26

Tried the p and p serum and got dreadful spots!

The moisturisers are nothing special IMO. Nice enough, all right on a 3x2 offer.
The serum though really is fab. I notice a difference in my skin tone after just one day whenever I rebuy it after having run out.

Well worth it.
