I bought a pair today. My dh and some mums at the school gates reckon that's very expensive. I disagree. Please cast your vote!

its depends how many times youre gonna wear them, as if you only wear them now and again then thats expensive for the value of the money but if youre wear them alot then they are worth it (iykwim!!) eg boots costs £100, for everytime you wear them its costs eg 10 pence per day and to spread it throughout the year of how many times youve worned them it may be more than £100 - youve worned them 5 times this week it costed 50pence and if you worned them for 20 times in a month it be £2.00..

sounds abit complicated - but i remember i watched summat about it ages ago

good price, i'd say about average. would love to find a pair i like for £60 but aways seem to end up spending far more.

But for 10p a day - you would have to wear a pair of boots 1000 times. I bought some black kneelength leather boots for £25 (half price in sale) in March and will definitely wear them 250 times over the next 2/3 years because they can be worn for work, going out or with jeans.

£60 doesn't go far for boots.

My dd aged 8 takes size 4-5 for boots this year - hers cost £40+ from Jones

emkana · 06/10/2005 13:10

I think £60 is about average. Having said that I bought some Hispanitas last year that cost £110 but hopefully they will last.

£60 = a sensible price in my book. Less probably means poor quality, more and you are paying for a brand/ design / v high quality

So you are beyond criticism...unless you go off them and /or don't wear them
