...after only a couple of wearings! Please?!

Preferably black, opaque and not too expensive!

Tabio.

Expensive, but I have pairs I bought four years ago and they are still going strong. They are amazing.

I got some from monsoon, it was in the sale last year (i mean 2009) and still wear them, no bobbling or anything.

I've said it before but primark holdy-inny tights are amazing. £2 a pair and they last for ages, suck in all known belly fat and are really really dark. Plus come up to your bra so keep you nice ans warm.

Thanks for quick responses!

Brill - I now have 3 suggestions from 3 price ranges to choose from! Thank you :)

Topshop tights are pretty good, they seem to last forever! They're usually about £8 so good value imo!

Darnsarfupnorf · 15/01/2011 16:47

ooo freebuttonbee i second that! cant wear mine now though, im in mothercare maternity tights...which are rubbish btw!

primark def wins for me, a couple of pairs of normal black opaque tights (£2.50 for pack of 5!!) are fantastic and last a surprisingly long time!

StarlightPrincess · 15/01/2011 18:00

I second Primark. I tend to buy their 100 or 120 denier opaques, and they're just £2 a pair, and I have a pair that is a year old and no holes! Excellent value IMO.

FreeButtonBee · 15/01/2011 19:10

I only like the primark "bodyshaper" ones - i spend about 20 mins peeking through the packaging working out if they are the right ones. You need to make sure thatbthey have a long body and extra stretchy panalss in the gusset bit. Agree you need the very high denier ones.

mollymole · 15/01/2011 19:12

primark very thick ones - last for years and this years black patterened ones have had 2 pairs since september ans still going strong even though a bit thinner than usual

SlowComfortableShrew · 15/01/2011 21:50

I've found topshop ones to be rubbish tbh m & s are good

CointreauVersial · 15/01/2011 21:58

I bought a pack of three M&S "value" opaques for £3.50 and they've been brilliant. Actually, at that price, who cares?

PlateSpinningAtAllTimes · 16/01/2011 16:28

Thanks- may start with the Primark ones as can't really go wrong with £2 then work my way up from there!

Falke are great, really worth the initial investment.

FaffTastic · 16/01/2011 16:50

Good old M&S is my port of call for tights. Don't like Primark ones to be honest, they didn't fit snug around the crotch iykwim and also went bally. Found they laddered too. Have never had a pair of M&S tights ladder on me.
