Well the best one I've tried, and I've tried a few, is the Superdrug Illuminating Moisturiser, it's v v cheap (£2.49) and so much better than any other I have tried.I don't normally use own brand stuff as I'm a sucker for advertised brands but this was recommended by my sister.

nappyaddict · 14/01/2011 15:49

Which ones have you tried? I've heard this Avon one is good too.

Anew Clinical Luminosity Pro

Body Shop Vitamin E Illuminating Cream is another one I've heard of.

Amen, Durham. I have bought a couple of the Superdrug vitamin e range and I really rate them. I like the Illuminating Moisturiser and the face oil, which I use only at night. It's genius. And I'm a Space NK junkie that has tried some seriously expensive stuff.

brimfull · 14/01/2011 15:58

Unfortunately I don't think the Dior skinflash primer is still being made.I love it and will be looking for a replacement when it runs out-may try the superdrug one.

nappyaddict · 14/01/2011 16:06

My friend uses the No 7 Skin Illuminator

Def superdrug vitamin e radiance cream its only £2 and people always notice when I have it on.Sold out atm though

DurhamDurham · 14/01/2011 16:13

noddy it's always sold out. When it comes back in we all panic and buy up several tubes. Leading to it being out of stock again. You know something is good when people panic buy it.

nappyaddict · 14/01/2011 16:22

Durham Which ones did you try before the Superdrug one?

OP posts:
noddyholder · 14/01/2011 16:25

I know durham It is coming into the small superdrug near me tomorrow and I'll be 1st in teh queue! It always makes my skin look amazing not just the radiance bit but it stays really moisturised all day.I mix it half and half with foundation for a light day look.Love it!

DurhamDurham · 14/01/2011 16:49

I've tried Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, the silvery one and the gold type one from Virgin Vie, Oil Of Olay. And prob many more. Superdrug one is by far the best. And I promise I have no personal interest in it Grin

nappyaddict · 14/01/2011 17:48

Which silvery one Grin

OP posts:
DurhamDurham · 14/01/2011 18:22

Not sure what it was called, give it to my mum once I realosed it wasn't v good (that's how kind I am!). I think it was called Radiance Balm. The gold one was called Radiance Dew or Skin Dew. Not much help, sorry. But don't worry because they weren't great.
I might have overdone the silvery one as dd2 told me I looked a bit like a robot. Not the look I was going for Grin

nappyaddict · 14/01/2011 18:50

Was the olay one you used the same as the one I linked to?

OP posts:
DurhamDurham · 14/01/2011 22:38

Sorry for delay, been out for dinner Smile

The Oil of Olay looks familiar but not 100% sure it was same one. It was over a year ago so this one may be a new improved version.

muminthesun · 15/01/2011 07:59

I really rate the oil of olay one,and also their moisturiser with "touch of sun"? great base for make-up,has spf, good value for money etc.
I used to work for the company that sells beauty flash balm, its ok,better for normal/dry skin as has tendency to look a bit shiny, have heard to superdrug radiance balm is good alternative at a less ££ price

sue52 · 15/01/2011 10:37

Benefit girl with a pearl gives a nice glow.

FaffTastic · 15/01/2011 11:42

I have tried clarins, smashbox, benefit and superdrug and have so far found that nothing comes close to Chanel Base Perfection. Love it and couldn't be without it!

nappyaddict · 15/01/2011 17:38

FaffTastic Did you try the Superdrug Illuminating Face Moisturiser or the Superdrug Natural High Radiance Balm and was it the Benefit That Gal, Girl Meet Pearl, Highbeam or Moonbeam?

OP posts:
KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/01/2011 17:47

Clarins Beauty Flash or MAC strobe cream both excellent too.

FaffTastic · 15/01/2011 17:57

Nappy I tried Benefit That Girl and Superdrung High Radiance Balm

Haven't heard of Girl Meet pearl - is it a new one?

nappyaddict · 15/01/2011 18:12

Yes :)

OP posts:
IlsaLund · 15/01/2011 18:48

I'd recommend the Soap and Glory one. I prefer it to Clarins FLash Balm.
They also do a great slightly tinted moisturiser caller 'Glow Job' and a fake Liz Earle cleaner.

I'm not paid by them (honest) just an avid convert to their products - I've had crap skin for years - dry/greasy in places/flakey and these products have transformed my skin

piratecat · 15/01/2011 18:52

i like Olay multi radiance,

i have really dry sallow skin and it works great, and isn't too pricey.
