Hello, I've been a devotee of Tigi Oatmeal and Honey for about five years now but it seems to be getting scarce and I suspect discontinued.

Therefore I want to defect and Aveda stuff smells lush so I'm planning to go for their Smooth Infusion and alternate it with Madder Root...anyone use these and care to give an opinion before I part with my ££££? I can't find many online reviews for Aveda at all.

Thank you!

I used to use the smooth infusion it was ok but I actually find I get less frizz using bumble and bumble creme de coco which is yummy.

I can't comment on madder root as I use black malva in winter and camomile in summer but have always found the shampoos to be really good and they don't clog up your hair with crap

ah cheers, might go for madder root and creme de coco - I forgot about bumble and bumble!

Aveda's smooth infusion is good but I've switched back to my one true love, Kerastase, until the price makes me want to shoot myself again at which point I'll go for Aussie again! I tend to switch between the three.

If you buy Aveda from an Aveda salon or somewhere like Fenwicks you can get a reward card with them - takes me far too long to collect points (which can go towards products or charity things I think) but you do get a birthday present which is quite nice! Last year I got a free perfume on my birthday.

If you're going to buy Aveda, or any other premium brands come to that, try Lookfantastic They give quite big discounts and it costs nothing to sign up.

Code END2 gives you £2 off a £30 order too Smile
