2 things I wonder if you can help me with.

First, around my nose and slightly onto my cheeks is becoming a bit more red (in my old age!). Although my foundation covers this in the morning, it appears through towards the end of the day. anything I can use? I do use smashbox and Laura Mercier primers.

Secondly, what do you recommend in a compact foundation for medium coverage? I need something in my bag for weekends away/touchups etc.

Thanks

mac studio tech is nice and very handy to take around with you - I've found teh women who work in mac enormously helpful with colours etc too

Perhaps IPL skin rejuvenation to get rid of the redness?

Also, you shouldn't really need to touch up foundation during the day, just a little powder perhaps to cover a little shininess.

Maybe change your foundation and use a light reflecting concealer. A foundation that lasts ALL day is Estee Lauder Double Wear. I recommend it all the time and it really does work! Plus, Touche Eclat (YSL).

Second the vote for Double Wear, it is heavy though so I tend to wear it on my nose and chin areas and then use something a bit lighter on the reat of my face (currently Revlon Photo Ready which is lovely). DL is the only foundation I have ever found needs no retouching at all and it gives great coverage.
