That's it really IN my desire tolook grown up and professional I have decided I need a smart bag (briefcase would be too formal) to hold up to 3/4 A4 books and a pen. I may also need a smart handbag for purse phone and crap vital things. i would like the bags to be long lasting so I suppose leather I have a budget of about £200 thanks

Big square handbags are the way to go. One bag is MUCH better than two. I have a little nylon bag which moves from handbag to handbag containing purse, phone and other junk.

I cannot help with any links, I'm afraid - when I find a bag like that I cling onto it for as long as possible! My current work favourite is a Liberty one I got about 4 years ago.

Can you try a factory outlet place like Bicester?

Would this be big enough?

Very soft leather.

I think they have some lovely bags in the sale, so you could maybe still get a handbag too if you like the styles on there.

I got one from Jigsaw recently - not very exciting but fits the bill. It's in the sale- not on website anymore but may still be some in the shops.

I would go with what suits your style, you will then use it/them more often, bringing down the cost per use and they/it will be more of a pleasure to use - I reckon!
