Help with skinny/combat stylee jeans please?

Hi I bought a pair of these khaki skinny combat jeans yesterday,(still trying to figure out how to link but they were from River Island) would any of you wise ladies have any ideas what I wear them with? I'm fairly casual. Flat pumps? Ankle boots? I'm not planning to wear them anytime soon as it's still so cold, but hopefully in the spring.

I have these which sound similar. I wear them with tall brown boots and I'm also planning to get some ankle boots as shown in the picture. HTH.

They are almost exactly the same and have long brown boots so will give that a try. Will look out for similar boots as in the pic too. Thank you so much this helps very much!
