since having dd2 i have realised how much of my wardrobe is day dresses, or long tops/tunic and legging. obviously can't bf in the former, and doing so in the latter is too exposing of bits that really ought to remain covered by long tops.

so what's out there - preferably high street stores, as i cannot be arsed sending stuff back. am 5'9", long body, pear shaped, currently sized 14 on top, 16 bottom but hoping to shrink back to 12-14.

I am watching with interest.i My figure is similar to yours at the moment although I am 2 inches shorter.

At the moment I wear day in day out a denim dress from next with buttons at front and opaques. I am told it's flattering but can't find it online to link.

Or

leggings, 2 vests (pull top 1 up and bottom 1 down to BF), a checked shirt or boyfriend cardi and in a stroke of genius (I think!) one of my pregnancy bump bands as a mini skirt as I look horrific in just leggings

All worn with Fly London biker boots

I am desperate for some more ideas but want to spend as little as possible as I don't want to be fat for long!

I am looking for more dresses that can be hoiked to one side or with buttons as they hide to worst of me ATM

i also am similar shape, and wear whole variety of things, but always, always 2 layers (1 up, 1 down, or 1 across, 1 up-its like a crossword puzzle Grin).
i have a whole load of very stretchy, thicker, long line vest tops in many colours that i bought in topshop and they are normally the basis of each outfit. so mainly do high waist flares or skinny jeans with long sleeve top or dressy jumpers, or leggings, denim skirts/mini skirts and v. slouchy of the shoulder type jumpers or funky t-shirts and granda cardigans. if i do dresses or tunic tops with deep v necks or buttons at the top i will still wear a short vest top underneath that i can pull-up, just because i personally don't feel as comfortable over-the-top feeding. but each to there own.

but this is dc3 and i have been almost continuously feeding for 4 yrs now- so my bf wardrobe is better than my normal wardrobe now Grin.

Jersy V-neck dresses are handy with a vest underneath.

I'd second the high-waisted jeans too, because they hold in your post-partum tummy too if you have one.

ooh, thanks.
like the dress crumpet - will have a look for it next time I'm in town.
