Looking for new scent

I want something very light and fresh smelling - not at all sweet. Maybe bit floral or citrussy but not too strong - like Clarins stuff but not. (Just want to try something different.)

Any ideas? Thanks.

Philosophy ones are nice. Issy Mayake (sp?) also does a v nice light one but have forgotten what it's called. Or maybe Daisy - think that's Marc Jacobs.

cornsilkcornedbeefhash · 30/12/2010 19:06

I like Daisy and am also after something new - will lurk

Guacamohohohole · 30/12/2010 19:08

My DH bought me a new scent for Christmas which was very risky but I absolutely love it. It's Prada Amber, it lingers all day and I've been complimented on it many times in the past few days.

ednurse · 30/12/2010 19:10

Try Chanel Chance - the green and pink one's are very light and summery.

oliviafrombolivia · 30/12/2010 19:11

my favourites, Chanel Cristalle or O de Lancome, both divine..

peppapighastakenovermylife · 30/12/2010 19:12

My favourite is the original Ghost.

ilovemydogandMrObama · 30/12/2010 19:13

cornsilkcornedbeefhash · 30/12/2010 19:20

mangoandlime · 30/12/2010 19:48

Had loads of compliments wearing Liz Earle Botanicals. On my third bottle.

grumpypants · 30/12/2010 19:51

Benefit; Maybe Baby. Is lovely

SecondToughestInTheInfants · 30/12/2010 19:55

Ted Baker in the pink bottle is really nice.

Shimmerysilverglitterybaubles · 30/12/2010 19:57

Just bought Paul Smith Summer Rose. Usually wear the original but this one a bit lighter and fresher, it is a perfect every day scent.

Gillybobs · 30/12/2010 22:41

Eternity Moment is lovely and always draws compliments (nothing like the strong and overpowering original version btw)

BaDaBing · 30/12/2010 22:47

Jo Malone lime basil and mandarin. Is around £65 for 100ml I think and is very clean, fresh and not too strong. Go visit a jo Malone store and you will find your perfect scent.

dufduf · 30/12/2010 22:50

I like D&G Light Blue for a lighter daytime smell, it's quite citrus-y. Bought a bottle of MArc Jacobs Daisy as I loved the bottle, but I hate the smell! Although that could be a pregnancy thing so I'll hang on to it until June :)

mathanxiety · 30/12/2010 23:17

Jessica McClintock for women -- floral/lemony with a little bergamot/currant. It's very light and airy.

Coco Mademoiselle is light and fresh too imo.

maize · 30/12/2010 23:58

Another recommendation for Light Blue.

Cool Water is light and fresh iirc

Oh i love Arran Aromatics Grapefruit Perfume, very light and refreshing, a real summery fragrance.

lal123 · 31/12/2010 08:50

I've just treated myself to a bottle of Vogage de Hermes - its lovely!

jumpinghoops · 31/12/2010 09:28

Would second Jo Malone Lime, Basil, and Mandarin if you like Eau Dynamisante but want something else. From what you have said I would also suggest you go to a Miller Harris counter if you have one nearby and have a test of some of their fragrances. They are all gorgeous, all very different on different people, some slightly more floral, others more citrussy- I love Fleur de
Matin as a spring fragrance. Have a squirt of the two Versace fragrances too. The greener one is grogeous and fresh and often gets commented on when I wear it.

otchayaniye · 31/12/2010 09:57
