i absolutely love moisture surge by clinique. It costs about £35 a pot but it does go a long way and isn't at all greasy.

Monadami · 29/12/2010 01:44

I quite like Crystal Clear's Skin Repair Cream and Elenis's Pro Collagen Marine Cream.

JustAnother · 29/12/2010 07:47

I swear by Creme de la Mer in the winter. The pot looks tiny (30 gr) but it will last you 4 months.

Chandon · 29/12/2010 08:24

I am a big fan of Clarins cream, the one especially for dry skin and/or the winter months.

it is very rich, but does not leave you shiny.

only use in winter though, when heating and rough weather take their toll.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Moisturising Cream - is incredibly creamy but not greasy and really plumps up skin - think is about £25 a tube but lasts for ages.

gregssausageroll · 29/12/2010 08:36

I've just started using Clarins Extra Firming Cream and finding it to be excellent. I've gone back to premium products after trying Olay and Boots no 7 both of which I didn't like.

Bonsoir · 29/12/2010 08:37

Lancôme Génifique is absolutely fantastic. My skin is softer and more glowing than it has been for ages.

MickyLee · 29/12/2010 08:37

madameCastafiore Do you really find Elizabeth Arden 8 hr cream not greasy? I love i but only on my lips. Although I don't have dry skin.

MadameCastafiore · 29/12/2010 08:38

There is a daily moisturiser tyhat they do - is completely different to the one that you ar e thnking of but just as good.

Is white and like a normal cream not that weird colour greasy stuff that you use on lips etc. Does smell slightly the same though.

oxocube · 29/12/2010 08:39

Marks and Spencers moisturiser - non perfumed for extra dry skin is very good I think. Cheap and reputed (on this site) to be made by Clarins Smile

MickyLee · 29/12/2010 09:38

Ah I see Grin

CybilScissorhands · 29/12/2010 09:40

I've just started using Decleor hydra Floral cream and LOVE it

QVC will let you send it back if you dont like it, even if used

otchayaniye · 29/12/2010 10:58

Embryolisse (if you're going to France)

Olay Regeneriste - my makeup artist friend says this is the dog's doo dahs considering its price.

If you want to spend, Natura Bisse.

cornsilkcornedbeefhash · 29/12/2010 11:07

definitely decleor - it's the business

carloss I dont use decleor cleanser but do have quite oily skin, have found hydra really moisturising without making skin more greasy

FritziGreenEyes · 29/12/2010 17:51

I use Nuxe cream and it's fantastic for winter!

alemci · 29/12/2010 18:17

i I like Decleor, elemis and am now using Liz Earle moisturiser which seems nice and light.

i find some moisturisers bring me out in spots if they are too rich.

tiokiko · 29/12/2010 18:29

I used Chanel Rectifiance for years and loved it until they changed the formula last summer. I think I tried the equivalents from every premium counter and also the other ranges from Chanel but didn't like anything else.

I now use Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect (Serum + Day Cream + Night Cream + Eye Cream) and really rate it. I think it's very similar in texture and performance to the Rectifiance cream and it suits my skin well.

It's also about 1/3 of the price of the Chanel stuff and there are always 3 for 2 offers so it's even cheaper - but that wasn't a factor in my decision.

JaxTellersOldLady · 29/12/2010 18:33

After years of using v expensive moisturisers I now use Olay 3point regenerist cream. It is fantastic and keeps my skin nicely hydrated.

pipplin · 29/12/2010 19:31

Olay- only just discovered it and it's amazing IMO.
