Thermage facial lift- anyone had it?

bit of a long shot this but has anyone had it or known anyone who has?

I am going for a consultation to a cosmetic dr who works only with fillers etc and also does Thermage.

Lots of mixed reviews online.

I have been doing alot of research regarding these non invasive facial lifting treatments and it appears to me Thermage is expensive and less effective than other Radio Frequency Treatments.

I am planning on trying Titan, which uses Radio Frequency (RF)and the after pics all seem to be quite impressive as well as the reviews. I had a consultation at a clinic regarding another RF treatment (Accent)but the consultant was honest and told me it didn't work well on the face.

Maybe the cheaper option would be to invest in a RF device you can use at home. I was lucky enough to receive a TriPollar Pose for Christmas, it's specifically designed to reduce fat, lift and encourage collagen production by heating the deeper layers of the Dermis, but only for the body. I've used it 3 times so far and I'm sure there has been a slight improvement already.

There is a TriPollar device specifically for the face, which is called a TriPollar Stop, it costs around £250 and is cheaper to try than possibly wasting £2-3K on a Thermage treatment.

Sorry Titan actually used Infra Red, not RF and is less painful than Thermage

Thanks-but is it better than the Cleo system which I have researched and is shown to be useless?

Yes I believe it is alot better than the Cleo system. I don't know much about Cleo, but gather it used to just be like slendertone for the facial muscles. All these exercises of facial muscles I've heard actually cause frown lines etc, hence products like Botox being used to freeze the muscles.

Because Tripollar Stop uses RF to heat the deep Dermal layers, it makes the skin produce Collagen. Our skin loses elasticity and tone as we age because our Collagen levels deplete, so new collagen will plump and lift the cells.

Have a look at this

Incidentally, I've been using my Tripollar Pose on my Mummy Tummy since 26th December and can already see some improvement. My "apron" of skin, which hangs over my bikini briefs is lifting and not as droopy.

Monadami, can you give us an update on the Pose? I have had Eporex in the past and it is very good but it can get expensive. And while the Pose is a lot to shell out at once presumably it is cheaper long term. Are there any things I should know about it ie will only work for X number of hours/treatments? Oh just anything you can think of. I have a very bad mummy tummy apron which is currently driving me nuts.

cabbage: I've had something called Genie, which seems to work ok. It definitely lifted my face but cost £700 for 10 treatments of 10 minutes. Never heard of Thermage.
