Brilliant Big Night Out-only problem was cost of transport (£60) for taxi,and then had to walk one mile to a main road to be picked up.No way could I dig my car out.Well it was all worth it,it was BRILLIANT!It was one of the those Marque things,with entertainers and the like.The food was superb,fascinated by venue,it was all canvas but cosy inside.A word of warning,we went on the Dodgems and if you are going to one of these evenings be sure to collect your coat first,FREEZING.
If you want to check it out,look up Manchester United Christmas Party,and I would like to give a BIG SHOUT to the Party Business/Corporate Events (not sure what you call them),as it was all superb,and especially the catering,it was beautiful,and the entertainers were fantastic too.Thank you very much to the mumsnetters who took the trouble to reply,this inspired me to make the effort when the weather was off-putting,it was MAGICAL.Thank you! I got my BIG NIGHT OUT and I looked the part!
