Cost of Blonde highlights?

Hi,

I've been paying over £80 for a full-head of foils to go blonde.

I'm now blonde, and the £80 is way to much to be paying now - it's £67 just for the roots.

Is this expensive, or is this about average?

How does everyone afford to be blonde???

It depends where you live and who does your hair.

I pay around £100 for half a head of highlights, plus cutting and blow dry on top of that- so it comes to well over £150 but I only have the colour done very 6-9 months as it's subtle and re-growth is not noticeable.

Maybe you should go slightly darker with the highlights so you don't need so much re-touching?

Have 2 colours so root growth not so obvious - have a halo or t section around face/parting done every second or even 2/3rd time

Depends entirely on where you are. I paid £90 for a T-section of highlights last week (London), but that included a wash and blow-dry. This is my salon's price list.

Ultimately, what matters is whether you think it is too expensive for you and whether you feel as though you are getting value for money. Very subjective thing IMO.

I am blonde but have highlights done every 6 motnsh or so.
It costs £75 for a cut and blow dry with parting highlights
