little black dress,fat and dowdy

Money problems,health problems,but really want to go to the ball.I have an off the shoulder black dress,and a midriff and big bum.Dress is ancient but could be resurrected with your help.I have booked a spray tan-£15.What are those knickers called that pull your bum in?That powder stuff that leaves glitter across your chest?Is there something that will push my boobs up and make me look a bit,well,sexy?Heels,any advice?I only want your super cheap ideas,more Claire`s accessories or SuperDrug than Harvey nicks.I would be so grateful.HELP!

If I got the name of the knickers I think I could work out everything else.I did google knickers,big but just got porn sites

Tights £115?! Wow! They are fabulous but way outside my budget.Thank you though Antpants and Rexy for pointing me in the right direction and been supportive.Even if they are outside my budget they give me ideas.They are really sexy and range in price I notice.I am all fired up now,thanks!

Antpants now I have calmed down a bit I see you have given me lots of ideas.I am going to have a blow dry on saturday.I had a biopsy on thursday last week and I am waiting for results,and feel so down,especially after having a General Anaesthetic,so thank you for your support,I am sure you are rushed off your feet like everyone else!

lordy i would not spend that much on tights either. Wollford do a range of tights at around £10 a pair.....

M&s do control tights that will help and mean you aren't too trussed up in big pants plus tights. They also do a good range of uplifting bras to go under any style of dress. Ask for multiway or staples.

Main thing though is your hair and nails. Get them done and you'll feel fab.

Take your dress with you to M&S. Try undies on with it on. Makes a huge difference. Have fun.

I got one yesterday.... am impressed.

I got the tube thingy and it is brilliant.Really comfortable and made a difference.Also extremely cheap and I got the next day delivery which wasn`t too expensive at all and it arrived the next day.Really recommended.The only slight difficulty is that its now doubtful I can go-snowed in!But the help so useful.Thank you
