ACNE boots - sizing?

I have got my eye on a pair of acne boots but have got size 8 (42) feet so wondering if I can get away with a 41 - does anyone know whether they tend to size on the large or small side?

I also have size 42 feet but wear Acne's 'Pistol' boots in a size 41. They are really comfortable. Acne sizes tend to be generous so you may be ok. You can also try emailing Acne via the address given on their website. They usually come back pretty quickly.

Thanks Castor - they are the exact boots I have been lusting after! One more question - do they look ok with skirts etc or just trousers. I'm feeling a bit jittery about spending so much on a pair of boots so want to get my moneys worth

Hi - they are great boots because they are really comfortable and you can pretty much wear them with anything. However I do not think they look quite right with formal skirts such as pencil skirts. They look better with dresses and less structured skirts (even an A line).

You do need slim knees however if you are going to wear them with skirts ! They have a dip at the front which really emphasises my huge knees Sorry if this sounds a bit odd but as you say they are really expensive so I just wanted to warn you about the knee thing !

Really annoyingly someone at work was wearing pretty good copies the other day - it may be worth a hunt round for those (or I can ask). They were ok but somehow just not as cool !
